Framed




Christmas came early this weekend! We asked Santa to have some of our pictures framed and they arrived looking really good. The top poster is by Dick Bruna, the pic of Little Mo by me, the Mr. Black print is by Camilla Engman and the paper AK-47 is what the hubby was making back in the summer. Now we just have to find somewhere to hang them...

    They look fabulous! And I love your grey painted walls - I have been searching for just the right shade of grey for a while now - can you remember what make and shade it is?

    hi lindsay! I think the grey paint is "grey steel 1" by dulux, I reckon it's the perfect shade of grey :)

    i bought the same print by C. Engman... not framed yet. i have to think about it. it's not easy to choose the right frame...

    Thanks Famapa, I'm off to get a tester pot as I think it looks like the perfect shade too. A new year new living room painting project I think!

    lucie: there was a bit of mis-communication with santa and mr black ended up with a passpartout which I don't like but the frame is all sealed up now ;(

    lindsay: good luck! I'd love to paint our front room dark too, but I don't feel brave enough...

    Hi Famapa, love your blog, been following it for ages now. Sorry if someone else has asked but what company did you use for your frames? Would you recommend them? I used the Frame Factory in Islington who were great but a touch pricey.

    chris: these were actually framed at frame factory in belsize park and yes they are pricey (but good!!), hence we asked santa ;)
