I have finally caught a cold. I've had a ridiculously good run of not getting ill (not once last year!), but this one crept up on me out of nowhere. I usually have a whole arsenal of things I use to keep the lurgies at bay but I didn't get a chance to use them, I just got ill without warning. Not much to do then except have hot water with lemon, honey and ginger, ignore the dishes, keep hydrated and enjoy a comfort fika.
oh no! i hope you get better soon!ReplyDelete
once again, those mugs are amazing!

HOME REMEDY: if you have sore throat: take 1 teaspoon full of liquid honey, mix into it a good pinch of turmeric powder ... then lick the mixture slowly from the spoon ... its a funny sensation :)

I love Tunnock's, especially the tea cakes. But I hate colds. Good luck with the latter! I suggest ginger tea. It doesn't cure you, but makes you feel better. BBReplyDelete
