Had a visitor in the garden yesterday morning. Unfortunately he/she was camera-shy so I didn't get a picture, but as I was having breakfast a squirrel scurried across the decking and climbed into one of the flower pots, only to get out his secret stash of blackberries. Our neighbour has a blackberry bush that has fed birds and squirrels for the past few weeks and this little fellow moved between different flower pots picking up his stored loot. Having my own wildlife show (OK, no lions as of yet) in the garden makes for an entertaining morning indeed...
Great looking blog I stumbled across yesterday: PICTURE SHOP
Go check it out!
Testa! :)
ReplyDeletebeautiful shots! when i stayed at my parents house i sat hours at window waiting for the squirrel and the fox that lives in garden. why are unexpected animals so funny to watch? can't wait to have a garden (and animals) of my own someday.
ReplyDeletewe only have a scrawny fox 'round our way. your squirrel sounds much more pastoral - and enterprising.
ReplyDeleteWe had a sunbathing cormorant on the other side of the ditch. At the moment I left the house to take a picture he stopped spreading his wings :((
