We had the luxury of having both lunch and dinner al fresco yesterday in our families gardens and to top it all off it was a gorgeous summer's day. I also got to enjoy the simple pleasure of dipping my feet in a cooling fountain in the park. Hope this good weather continues... looks like I'm not quitting summer after all.
ahhh, that's summer right there.
ReplyDeleteand so lovely that your families live in london as well.

ReplyDeleteyasu & lottie: make the most of it as it will get really cold from wednesday onwards... yep, I'm a bit of a weather nerd... it's a side-effect from living here :)
ReplyDeletealso my family doesn't live here (apart from my sister), I meant to write my husband's families (as in re-married parents), mine are scattered over two continents!
emma: jag drack nåt och krympte à la Alice innit ;)
love the al fresco photos! i'm thinking of doing a collaborative on-line picnic photo project this summer. i'm still trying to figure out the details, but would you be interested in sharing your photos for something like that?
ReplyDeletewow, i like that first picture! it looks like dandelions but green! do you know what kind of plant that is?
ReplyDeletep.s. lovely photographs...
beautiful photos..you have captured that summer essence so well! I hope it sticks around for you. I remember it being so fickle when i lived there!
ReplyDeletejill: your project sounds interesting however I don't know how much I can contribute as the weather is so fickle in this country, it's like the weekend never happened today. keep me posted though!
ReplyDeletehazel: I'm not sure what they are, they look a bit like alliums but I've never seen them look like that before... sorry I can't help!
