Graphix

Saw some great graphic posters at the Stedelijk. The font in the poster on the left in the last picture pretty is awesome, don't you think? And it's from 1929! It's making me miss my graphic design days...

  1. Interesting! The one next to it as well.
There is a '100 years of Graphic Design' exhibition in Shoreditch (until March 15th) that you might be interested:

Although I have no background in Graphic Design, I might go check it out this weekend :)

    1. Hi Hanna! Thanks for the tip; it look really interesting. I wish it was on for longer, I don't think I'll make it in time :(

Let me know what it was like if you do go!

  2. Sounds very interesting. I go to Amsterdam in May, if I have enough time, I'll try to see this exhibition...

    1. I think it's part of the permanent collection, so you should be able to see it. There'll also be a huge Matisse exhibition on when you go! But if you only have time for one museum I recommend going to the Rijksmuseum. It's amazing, and if you get there for when they open at 9, you'll miss the crowds.

    1. Yes, we had a look, but didn't build anything. Such a great idea! Oomoo would love it. Maybe next time I'll take him there :)
