Back home

Eeeek, it's soon time to go back to regular posting. The past couple of weeks have been different as I haven't been taking pictures in quite the same way, knowing I had a back log of posts to get through. As you can see I've kept my 30mm lens on the whole time since we got back from France. I think it makes everything look just that little bit nicer.
Happy Friday peeps!

  1. yes! That popcorn photo really pops!
was little mo happy to see you when you returned home?
what other lenses do you use?

  2. Happy Friday to you, as well. And welcome back...very thoughtful photographs. I love your film shots in the previous post, as well. I agree with you entirely...film just treats the subject with more familiarity than does, as I have found, digital. Very nice.

  3. marion: yes, yuuuuuum! thanks for the winter pics link!

celine: little mo was so sweet when we came back, she was more like a dog following us around everywhere and just wanting to be cuddled all the time. now she's so over us :)

I use the sigma 30mm 1.4 EX DC HSM, and a canon EFS 17-85mm f/4-5.6 IS USM instead of the kit lens (which was awful). I also have a canon EF 24-70mm f/2.8 USM which is the nuts and that I should be using instead of the EFS but it weighs a ton and is huge, so I hardly ever use it. I need to get a bigger camera bag, and maybe then I'll be happy to lug it around...

heather: thank you & glad you liked them!

  4. incredibly beautiful photos from France. looks you have had very good time there:)
wellcome back home too, it`s also nice. i was traveling for 5 weeks and now it feels quite ok to be home again;)
