The heavy snow finally arrived yesterday, luckily we'd all made it home in time as the Brits for some reason can't get their act together and grit the roads every time this happens. Traffic came to a stand-still on our road for hours, at one point we counted eight abandoned busses! Oomoo was sound asleep for most of it though, but he kept with the day's colour theme ;)
Such a handsome little fella! I hope you all have a super first Christmas together! (my Norwegian husband is also in total disbelief of how us Brits cant seem to get it together in the snow!)
ReplyDeleteAs someone who spent over 8 hours getting home to West London from Basingstoke, I am very envious of you making it home in time :)

ReplyDeletewhy is there so much snow in London, and none here in Toronto?! It's like it's opposites this year!

A friend and I were cooing over your baby, all the way here in crazy Seoul, South Korea. I think that you've gained another reader. I've been checking your blog out for a little while and love your eye.
ReplyDeleteYour baby, there just aren't any words to describe how precious and beautiful he is! Congratulations to you and your husband.
P.S. Love your cat on the radiator picture as well. Very touching.
God Jul ett Gott Nytt Ar

i agree, us brits just can't cope in snow! every year the same thing happens, lots of snow comes, traffic is disrupted, they run out of grit and then they say 'but we're not used to having so much snow'! pffft. i know snow ploughs are probably pretty expensive but maybe we should invest in some now...
ReplyDeleteanyway, merry christmas!
merry christmas Famapa !!
ReplyDeleteOomoo is so very precious, so delicate..
oh, i really love those pictures! especially the last one.. it awakes long forgotten memories in me...
ReplyDeleteand of course, the snow white snow and the baby in white... very special atmosphere, but that's typical for your fotos.. love them..
oh, happy new year, by the way :))
they just don't know what to do with it! it's funny because it's the end of the world to them. all the buses and trains are down all of sudden... love these shots as well! and especially the one of the gorgeous little one!
