First of all I want to say thank you for all your comments on the previous post; we are touched and delighted by your well wishes! The last few days have been amazing, Omar is such a content baby and is both sleeping and feeding really well; we kind of feel like we've hit the jackpot! I can't explain what an amazing experience becoming a parent is; I really had no idea how intensely one can feel love or how soppy one can get ;)
Fina fina fina trion, hörrni, vad glad jag blir att ni mår fint att det går så bra! Man fånler blankögt rakt igenom inlägget. Verkligen jackpot, haha! Han är återigen; underbar! Ta hand om fötterna och resten av kroppen! (är ni hemma nu eller får man vara kvar länge på sjukhuset in England?) -Kramar i en hel hög! :-*
Ohh, he is so incredibly beautiful, congratulations :))) Enjoy every precious moment, it goes past so fast! I've been enjoying your gorgeous blog for some time, can't remember if I've ever commented before, Omar's arrival is the perfect reason to do so X
emma: vi är hemma nu, men vi var där i fem dar (mail kommer så småningom, I promise!).
marion: the monster outfit is still too big for him but at the rate he's growing it shouldn't be long before he can model it for you ;0)
chapter 9: thanks for saying hello, time is indeed flying, his face is changing daily... we're savouring very single moment with him!
jaboopee: :D so true - just a few days ago I had to stop watching "life" (that awesome nature program on bbc right now) as I was getting too tearful as in "what an amazing world we live in!". I also find I can't watch the news anymore as in "what a horrible world we live in!". hmmm.
before having my daughter someone told me "having a child is like agreeing to let your heart run around outside of your body"... now I know they were exactly right. Enjoy!
I've been a follower of your blog for ages even though I don't think I've ever commented. It seems this gorgeous baby fits perfectly in your beautiful world. Congratulations!
flora: yes, I am, are you lou mé? such a relief that it all works :0)
tracey: that carpet was in the our bedroom at the hospital, there was definitely no carpet where you wouldn't want there to be carpet in a hospital!
alice: she was a bit grumpy and shy to start with but she seems fine now. she tries to sit on my lap whilst I feed him and doesn't seem to mind... phew!
He is simply beautiful.
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing these wonderful photographs and feelings.
