The Barbican has become a favourite hangout spot on the weekends; there's lots of room for Oomoo to run around in and it's indoors (although I must admit we're having clear blue skies right now - yay!). When we went on Sunday it was more hectic than usual when they were staging the Barbican Weekender and as you can see, at one point the little man decided to have a lie-down :) And see the seven? Yup... I'm holding hands with cold no. 7 as I write this. Ridiculous!
seven! that's ridic. a nurse i know told me about his miracle cure - two cloves of raw garlic daily, crushed and eaten with a little salt and lemon juice on bread to make it more palatable. he said that given he's exposed to people and germs all day long, he hasn't had a single cold this year. although perhaps that's because they don't get close enough to him to pass them on due to the garlic smell?!
ReplyDeletehah! I think your smelly theory is the right one! years ago I ate some raw garlic to stave off a cold and I swear I could smell garlic fumes coming out of my pores - bleurgh. I have to do something though, it's so booooring!
ReplyDelete(I guess me blogging about my colds is even more boring :p )
we drink berocca every day in the winter and that really seems to work - we've each only had one cold this year - but i worry slightly about the bright orange colour and what that's doing to our insides! my best friend who has two little boys and hence lots of illnesses has found a homeopathic berocaa alternative that she swears by. i'll find out what it's called for you :)
ReplyDeleteoh ! i love the third one :At first it's scary and then it's hilarious !
ReplyDeleteI can't tell you how much i enjoy your posts!
ReplyDeleteI agree with Mirna - at first it is a bit unsettling, and then with the explanatioon you just want to laugh :)

ReplyDeletebeen meaning to say this for a while now, but i love ur blog!
ReplyDeleteIt´s not bad to be a tired, little boy when you can stretch out and enjoy some art at the same time. Maybe we big people should try the same thing next time we go shopping? Imagine the scenery.
ReplyDeleteif only we could all be so uninhibited to just take a lie down whenever we need. love that shot.
ReplyDeleteFantastic photo... Oomoo had the right idea!
ReplyDeletePoor you; I hope you feel better very soon xoxo
