There are some places I've been (before the vote) where I've definitely felt like the odd one out, but in what we assume (the media will always report when people do bad things, and never when they do good) now are different times, I worry a bit of what will happen. In the 24 years I've been here I've never suffered racial abuse, but who knows what people will do now when those kind of people feel empowered.famapahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12494694152565336579noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6100372394699063953.post-62106824302315287912016-07-06T10:10:34.189+01:002016-07-06T10:10:34.189+01:00Hey Fatima! But, they are richer with you, believe me!
We witnessed the shock wave from the inside and felt terrible and sorry for all those who voted for unity and open-mindedness, also sorry for all the bigots/ignorants who think they "won" sth...idiots! I still do hope that UK will remain an example for diversity.
Haha yes "no one is Not in charge". Look at them now, "après moi le déluge". All gone leaving such a mess!
Hope you'll be feeling better. Take care ;)
Pekiyenoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6100372394699063953.post-30973252457443183572016-07-05T16:26:12.866+01:002016-07-05T16:26:12.866+01:00Hey Pekiye! Must have been a weird week to visit! ...Hey Pekiye! Must have been a weird week to visit! We're still reeling from the shock and the aftermath, and wondering where the hell this country is headed. Everyone is still talking about it, as no one in charge (or NOT in charge, haha!) seems to know what should happen now. It makes me very sad that this country that has always felt like home now feels alien. It's a very strange feeling.

Glad you like these pix lady! xxfamapahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12494694152565336579noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6100372394699063953.post-44113051845205017982016-07-05T11:32:37.204+01:002016-07-05T11:32:37.204+01:00by the way, happy to see you back here and lovely ...by the way, happy to see you back here and lovely series, as always ;-) I particularly like the warmer tone of the 'leftover' pics. The sole consolation is that you live in a city which mainly rejected this. However it is a frightening prospect... let's hope for better times. But there are so many other horrible reasons for why people voted leave, and some didn't even know what the EU is! We live in such awful times right now, on so many levels. famapahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12494694152565336579noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6100372394699063953.post-49099493997921990322016-06-30T23:01:50.306+01:002016-06-30T23:01:50.306+01:00So depressing and so weird that half a country can...So depressing and so weird that half a country can have the blues at the same time.

I didn't shoot these pics on film; I use VSCO to edit my pictures and I love how their filters get rid of the digital feel.
